IIC and NU in association with MSME hold Management Development Programme to promote exports

Why needed?

Globalization has opened significant opportunities for businesses to expand beyond domestic markets. However, navigating export procedures and documentation is complex and requires a clear understanding of international trade laws, documentation protocols, and procedural intricacies.

What is the goal?

To address this need, a Management Development Programme (MDP) that focused on enhancing knowledge and skills in export procedures and documentation for MSME business owners was envisaged and conducted by IIC and NU in association with MSME-DFO (Development and Facilitation Centre) Jaipur. The primary goal of this MDP is to equip participants with practical insights into export documentation, regulatory requirements, and procedural strategies to facilitate smooth and compliant export operations.

Key objectives include:

  • • Familiarizing participants with the necessary export documents.
  • • Understanding international trade terms (Incoterms) and their implications.
  • • Gaining knowledge of export procedures, including shipping, customs, and payments.
  • • Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with export regulations.

Who participated?

37 representatives of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and other organizations participated in the event.
