Unique Admission Process

NIIT University (NU) believes that students have a right to pursue a course they are passionate about and in an institution that is right for them. Keeping that student centricity in mind, NU has devised a unique admission process called Admission Interaction Process (AIP), which is applicable to anyone applying for admission to the BTech, iMBA, and BBA programmes.

AIP enables applicants to choose a specialised stream that will lead them on a journey of self-discovery and transformation so that they can reach their full potential. AIP also involves parents and guardians in the admission process because NU believes that they form the crucial third pillar in a student’s growth.

AIP starts with NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT) if they have not appeared for the JEE-Main, BITSAT, SAT, NEET or any state engineering entrance examination. 

Next, the applicants interact with the Faculty Advisor and Admission Advisor. Finally, applicants undergo a Student Personal Interaction with the NU-AIP panel wherein, student and NU faculty discuss on may topics of current interest followed by the parents’ meeting with the panel. 

Admission decision is based on performance in AIP, which is a completely transparent process and gives each student a fair chance to prove themselves.
