Dr Honey Sharma

Dr Honey Sharma is an accomplished academician, researcher, and higher education leader with 19 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His expertise spans a wide range of domains, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Conversational AI, Mathematics, Approximation Theory, and q-Calculus. Passionate about education and innovation, he is dedicated to fostering academic excellence, mentoring students, and advancing research in emerging technologies.

Dr Sharma holds a PhD in Mathematics from NIT Jalandhar, specializing in Approximation Theory and q-Calculus. His research contributions are globally recognized, and his scholarly impact extends beyond his own research, as he actively serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals and is a member of the editorial board of journals. He has successfully supervised two PhD candidates, guiding them in advanced research areas.

In addition to research, Dr Sharma has played a pivotal role in academic leadership and administration. He has served in several administrative roles, overseeing academic operations, curriculum development, regulatory compliance, and faculty mentoring.A strong advocate of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Dr Sharma has delivered numerous invited talks and organized FDPs on modern pedagogical practices, assessment techniques, and advancements in education. He has also been invited as a guest speaker at various FDPs, covering topics such as Machine Learning, AI-driven innovations, and developments in education.His dedication to academic excellence has earned him prestigious recognitions, including the ISTE Section Best Teacher Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education.
