Head Start Programme for fresh BTech students

Since inception NIIT University has been a pioneer in introducing innovative ideas in higher education. This year, NIIT University has launched a month long Head Start programme for the fresh batch of BTech students. The objective behind this unique programme is to help the new batch of students to integrate with the campus life. The Head Start Programme exclusively comprise of special teaching sessions for students to prepare them better in core subject areas as in Mathematics, Electrical Sciences, Programming, Communication Skills and Learning to Learn so that they can take up the academic challenge once the semester begins. To foster holistic development, multi-dimensional facets of intellectual brain storming sessions, discussions, theatre, music, photography, creative writing, sports, nature walks, and many more, are a part of the daily activities for students during this month.


A novel attribute of the Head-Start programme is the Invited Talk Session by eminent Guest Speakers, who are stellar academicians and / or renounced industrialists.

Professor Panwar

Professor Panwar is currently the Vice Chancellor of Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur. An eminent scientist of current times, professor Pandey’s research lies in the area of Astronomy and Astro Physics with specialization on Surface Photometry of Galaxies variable Stars and Image Processing. An extremely gifted teacher, an illustrious academician, he is instrumental in transforming Raipur University in its present glorious repute.
