NIIT University shines at ASSOCHAM Education awards
On April 9th, At the National Educational Excellence awards, 2013, by leading Industry body ASSOCHAM ( Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India ) – Dr. M M Pallam Raju, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development presented the award of Best University in use of Technology in Teaching-Learning Practices to NIIT University. Dr. Rajendra Kumar Pandey, President, NIIT University received the award along with Akhlesh Agarwal, VP, NIIT Limited.
These awards are conferred on institutions who have contributed significantly in the field of improving the quality in education delivery with emphasis on world-class research and innovations and enhancing the development of quality education.
Being recognized as the leading University in this sphere, in such a short period since inception in 2009 – the award is a testament to one of the core driving principles at NU viz. to provide “Technology-based” education to its students.
