Prof Sunil Khanna honoured for research contributions in Microbiology
Mr Sunil is a member of a number of societies in India and abroad, and has also worked as Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Microbiology from 1993 to1996. Currently, he is the member of the DBT Task Force on Biodiversity Conservation and Environment, Inter-disciplinary Research Committee (IDRC) and Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) on Energy Biosciences.
He is a writer or co-author of 59 referee practice publications apart from three reviews in books, and two books and is ranked among the top most-cited researchers at NIIT University. Sunil’s other interests include reading fiction and contemporary books and he is also fond of pottery. Prof Sunil Khanna received this Fellowship on December 15, 2010 at the 51st Annual Meeting of the AMI held at Ranchi.
