NU students win funds from DRDO
Name of the project: Automated Vehicle Detection by Integrated Sensor Approach

Student members – BTech IInd years – Arshnoor, Ruchita, Ruby, Baljeev
Students of BTech II year, namely Arshnoor, Ruchita, Ruby and Baljeev under the guidance of Professor Vikas Upadhyaya set up a mile stone by grabbing a project from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The project is based on the activities under the Electrical Science course: Digital Logic and Circuits.
This is the first time that any student at the UG level got the project allotment from DRDO in NIIT University. Under the most competent guidance of Prof Upadhyaya, Arshnoor will lead it from the students’ front.

“I believe in providing the exposure to the students from the beginning of their Technical Education towards the real time problems by doing hands-on project work. Having a vision to make NIIT University, a leading University in the field of Electronics by establishing a State of Art Research & Innovation centre”
