At NIIT University (NU), we combine academic rigour with experiential learning in the real world to ensure that our students pursue careers that are both personally fulfilling and financially satisfying. Our Career Development Council (CDC) and Centre for Industrial Collaboration (CIC) are in charge of all placement initiatives at NU. They work with over 400 active industry partners, including some of the foremost Indian and multinational corporations from Morgan Stanley to IBM to Ernst & Young, to place our students. The CDC also facilitates training to bridge competency gaps, if any, in students.
Our placement process starts from the moment students enter NU as undergraduates, when our Design My Future initiative helps them understand their strengths, identify their career choices and articulate their life purpose, values and vision. Summer internships then provide the first exposure to industry while the six-month Industry Practice gives students an opportunity to translate their classroom learning into practical applications, paving the way for their final placements in roles that match their career goals and aspirations.
